About
My name is Tim Tindale and I’m a Canadian painter working primarily in acrylics. While I’ve always had a deep appreciation for art, it wasn’t until my retirement in 2023 that I was able to fully dedicate myself to painting.
I was born and raised in Toronto and spent many years living in Richmond Hill with my wife and family. In 2016, we relocated to Keswick, where I continue to find inspiration in the surrounding landscape and community of Georgina.
My work focuses on landscapes and still life, often drawing from scenes around Lake Simcoe, as well as from my travels across Canada and abroad. I have a particular connection to the East Coast, and many of my pieces reflect the textures and tones of the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
Painting allows me to capture everyday moments and familiar places. I share my latest work on Instagram and Facebook, and I invite you to follow me on social media and explore this site which features my portfolio and current pieces available for purchase.
